From updating the setting of a diamond to better showcase its brilliance, to melting down or trading in old gold to create a completely new design, this bespoke process ensures your jewellery continues to tell your story for years to come.

THE PROCESS
We take great joy in remodelling our clients' jewellery, as it's such a collaborative and uplifting experience. Drawing on our extensive experience in the jewellery industry, we carefully evaluate your old pieces and propose design ideas that align with your needs. The outcome? A bespoke piece of fine jewellery crafted exclusively for you, destined to be loved and worn for many years to come.
WELCOME TO OUR DESIGN GALLERY
Step into the historic St. James Trust Building and ascend to level 9, suite 905, where we wait to welcome you into our Design Gallery. More than just a space, our gallery offers a cozy and inspiring environment designed to ensure your comfort and relaxation.
STEP 1: YOUR APPOINTMENT
When visiting us for a remodelling appointment, you will meet either Nicholas or Anya. Both boast decades of experience and are GAA qualified diamond graders. They will evaluate your pieces, identifying those with value that can be redesigned or traded in towards new jewellery you’ll love to wear.
STEP 2: DESIGN
During your appointment with us, we will discuss your requirements and explore options with you for breathing new life into your old, unworn jewellery. We will show you suggested designs and start narrowing down the final details of your piece. If needed, we will hand-sketch design options for your consideration. Once you are happy with the design, we will provide you with a quote for your consideration. If you choose to proceed, a minimum 50% deposit is required to initiate the crafting process.
NOTE: ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS
If additional diamonds or gemstones are required for your design, we will carefully select stones on your behalf, drawing upon our vast experience and qualifications. We'll present you with a curated selection that meets your specifications, along with the final design and quote for your consideration, ensuring everything aligns perfectly with your needs and preferences.
STEP 3: CRAFTSMANSHIP
Our bespoke designs are handcrafted in our Sydney Design Gallery by our master jeweller. During your appointment, you will be able to observe our master jeweller at work—a unique experience that we are proud to offer our clients. Production of a bespoke piece takes approximately 4 weeks from inception to completion.
STEP 4: COLLECT YOUR RING
Upon completion, we will schedule a final appointment to present your new pieces of bespoke fine jewellery to you. You'll also receive an independent valuation, and we will discuss insurance options for your peace of mind.

SIGNATURE SERVICE
Our concierge-style service extends far beyond your purchase with us.
Our ultrasonic cleaning service is a complimentary service completed in our Design Gallery as often as you would like. It uses a commercial ultrasonic machine which utilises high-frequency sound waves to create a cleaning action that removes debris, dirt, and grease from your fine jewellery. This service takes approximately 15 minutes, so it is able to be done while you wait - no appointment needed. We will also check your settings while you are here to ensure they are secure.
Engraving is complimentary on all eligible Nicholas Haywood Jewellery pieces.
All orders come with Nicholas Haywood Jewellery signature wrapping including a branded matt black box tied with branded black & white ribbon. We will also include a branded gift bag and tag in your order.
Everyday wear can take its toll on your fine jewellery, especially constantly worn pieces like engagement and wedding rings. Inevitably, they get dirty; scratches appear in the gold and they generally lose their lustre. As well as this over a long period of time gold on your claws can wear down requiring re-tipping to ensure your stones are secure.
As part of our Signature Service, we offer a complimentary full-service clean, check, and polish for your Nicholas Haywood Jewellery Rings - once a year. This complimentary service is valued up to $150 per ring.
With each bespoke Nicholas Haywood Jewellery creation, we provide an independent valuation for your pieces. This service is valued at $150 per valuation. Your valuation certificate will be included with your purchase.
